Returns and Refunds Policy
This policy applies to all purchases made on the Kampi Shop (shop.kampi.co.za) and is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) of the Republic of South Africa.
Your Rights Under the CPA
As a consumer, you have the right to return goods and receive a full refund or exchange within 6 months of purchase if the product is found to be:
- Defective or not in working order
- Not fit for the purpose it was intended or marketed for
- Not of good quality or free of defects
How to Request a Return

Please include your order number and a description of the issue. We may ask for photos of the defect before authorising a return.
Return Conditions
- Items must be returned in their original packaging where possible
- A valid proof of purchase (order confirmation email or invoice) is required
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective
- Kampi Shop will cover return shipping for confirmed defective items
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7 working days.
Non-Returnable Items
- Perishable food products (e.g. BoskampKos items) that have been opened
- Items that have been used, damaged, or are not in resalable condition due to customer handling
- Items returned outside of the 6-month CPA window without evidence of a latent defect
Shipping Policy
We currently ship to addresses within South Africa only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
