The fold-out design opens flat with see-through pockets on both sides, so you can see everything at once instead of digging. A printed contents list is packed inside for restocking after use.
Vehicle kit or campsite kit?
This kit is built for the vehicle: one of everything, flat enough for the cubbyhole. Camping with kids, a group, or heading somewhere remote? The Campsite First Aid Kit carries more of everything, adds 100ml burn gel, a second rescue blanket, a box of 50 plasters and a proper carry bag with space for your own medicine. No first aid kit may be sold with schedule medicines packed inside, and honestly you would not want ours anyway: everyone’s needs are different. The organiser panel and side pockets in this bag are there so you can add your own. On your next Clicks or Dis-Chem run, ask the pharmacist to help you pick:
- Pain and fever – paracetamol, plus an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen
- Allergies and bites – antihistamine tablets and an anti-itch cream for stings and mosquito bites
- Nausea and motion sickness – especially with kids on gravel roads
- Runny tummy – an anti-diarrhoeal plus rehydration sachets (the sachets matter more than the stopper)
- Stomach cramps – an antispasmodic
- Heartburn – antacid tablets, because boerewors at 21:00 has consequences
- Your own chronic medicine – plus a copy of the script, and child-appropriate versions of everything if you camp with kids
Ask your pharmacist about correct use, ages and what mixes with your chronic medication. That advice is free and it is better than anything a product page can tell you.
