R350.00

A light-touch crossing made simple: the ZA country oval and the fitment guide you need for Eswatini, with the safety triangles you should carry.

SKU: KAMPI-XB-SZ Category:

Mlilwane, Hlane or a weekend at Mkhaya? Eswatini is one of the easiest crossings from South Africa and asks very little in the way of vehicle markings. The Kampi Eswatini cross-border kit keeps it simple: the ZA country oval and a clear guide, so you are tidy and correct without buying things you do not need.

What is in the kit

  • ZA country identifier oval for the rear of the rearmost vehicle.
  • Printed fitment and placement guide.

Where the sticker goes

  • ZA oval: rear, right-hand side, at least 150 mm clear of the number plate. When towing, fit it to the caravan or trailer.

Eswatini has no reflective-tape or T-sign rule, and third-party insurance is built into the fuel price, so there is no separate cover to buy. There is a small road tax (around R50) at the border.

How to fit your stickers

  1. Clean and dry the panel with soapy water, then wipe with a little methylated spirits so the adhesive grips.
  2. Fit in mild shade, not full Kalahari sun: the vinyl sits flatter and the glue cures better between 15°C and 25°C.
  3. Peel slowly, lay one edge down first, then smooth from the centre outwards with a cloth or squeegee to push out air bubbles.
  4. Press the reflective tape and ovals down hard for 30 seconds and leave them 24 hours before a wash or a long highway run.

Worth keeping in the vehicle

  • Reflective warning triangles: good practice everywhere in the region. Carry two, or four when towing.
  • Your vehicle licence, registration papers and, for a hired or financed vehicle, a letter of authority.

Please read before you travel

Border requirements change without notice and enforcement differs from one post and one official to the next. This kit and guide are put together in good faith from current travel sources, but they are guidance, not legal advice. Confirm the rules for your route with the relevant roads authority or your border post before you leave, and carry your vehicle licence, registration papers and a police clearance where required.
